Our Vision

We strive to create a child-centred, holistic learning environment where there is a focus on the emotional, physical and mental well-being of our children. We aim to create a nurturing environment that allows children to discover themselves and to develop their confidence and independence in all that they do.

At Little Hamza's Nursery we are working towards becoming a sustainable nursery in order to reduce our carbon footprint and to educate our children to becomes good citizens of the Earth.  

How are we doing this? 

The journey to becoming sustainable will not happen over night, however, we have already started this journey. 

• To minimise our plastic waste, our organic milk arrives in glass bottles that we wash every week for our milkman to collect  
• We avoid one use plastics and always use reusable shopping bags for our grocery.  
• We endeavour to buy locally sourced foods.
• We have our own compost bin where we recycle our food and garden waste. 
• Sustainability is on its way to becoming part of our nursery's curriculum.
• Staff have become very creative in making resources using recyclable materials!
